Hi Jim & Shawna:
I am so happy to hear the horses are doing good and found a new home also that they are together. Jim thank you for taking the time with them and getting them started. They looked very happy in the pictures and I hope the people who bought them will bring them back for spring training to you.
Thanks Again

I took my mare to Jim, and I was amazed! I hadn't been able to ride her for most of the last summer because I shattered my hand, so I wanted someone to give her a refresher, and Jim & Coty did an awesome job!! They worked with Riley for 2 weeks, and she was just amazing when I got her home. I also went several times while they were working with her, which I think helped me. I highly recommend Jim to anyone, you won't meet a more honest person who does an excellent job. I really liked the fact that he was gentle with her, she really came around for me. Just my 2 cents worth!! Terese Barth
Jim has done some great things....you need to check him out. It would be worth the extra effort to take the horse to him. Angie Olson~Holmen WI
I have a coming two year old Mule that is still a stud I wanted to sell, but was not halter-broke or handled at all. Wild is a better description. Even being the experienced person that I am, I didn't want to tackle this one, but Jim did, enthusiastically, patiently, and professionally.
I am impressed, and would highly recommend Jim as a trainer for horses or mules. Mules, by the way, are harder to train than horses. Mules HAVE to be trained the way horses SHOULD be trained. Jim is excellent with both.

"I'm very, very happy and please tell Coty he did such a nice job with her and she LOOKS just awesome. I'm very impressed with her handle also, she leg reins great for only 30 days of riding.
Again, thank you so much and I'll tell everybody I know what a fine job you both did. I couldn't be happier!!"
Sincerely,

"We were very impressed with Jim's dedication
and commitment to our horse's training. He is very
concerned about the horse, it's progress and the
customer's goals with the horse. Thanks.

If you are looking for a responsible, honest, gentle yet firm trainer that gets the job done then you have found your trainer! Jim does a great job teaching your horse how to do what you want him/her to do. He doesn't "cowboy" at all-he uses persistence pressure & release tactics. Jim has trained for me a couple of times, I couldn't be happier. Karen Gaede 608-269-0723 Sparta, WI
I sent my 5 year old Friesian Sport Horse mare Bindy to Jim. She had no
respect for your space and would try to run over the top of you. She had
never been in a trailer and very seldom out of the pasture because she was
hard to handle. She had not been taught to pick up her feet because she was
too pushy. She was always nervous and on high alert. Not a very fun animal
to be around and not only that she was a danger to us and anybody she came
in contact with. I had several trainers turn me down to work with her
because of her age and size (she is a BIG girl). I fully expected Jim to
turn me down as well. He agreed to train her without hesitation. He came to
get her and got her into the trailer, it was quite literally like trying to
put a wild horse in a trailer for the first time. After she was loaded he
took her to his farm. When I got there he already had her walking in and
out of the trailer as if she had done it a million times. Jim and Shawna
always encouraged us to come out there and watch what was being done. They
want to make sure that you build a relationship with your horse and are
safe. They are always giving you information and Shawna was excellent at
explaining what was happening and why it was being done that way which
really helped a lot. The safety of you and your animal is a top priority.
He never pushed her farther than what she could handle. When he brought her
back she was a completely different animal. She had a calmness about her,
which was confidence that she didn't have before. She had been on many trail
rides. And was exposed to many different things. You can lead her and pick
up her feet. She now has the personality and manners that I had hoped for.
Jim performed a miracle in 30 days quite literally.

What I really liked about Jim is he explained everything he was doing and why. He was very calm, quiet and gentle but, accomplished everything I wanted done. I was thinking about selling my horse but, now I am not sure. After Jim rode him he is such a willing camper to go anywhere.

We have used Jim several times to work with our young stock
and he does an excellent job! He is very kind to them, he
gets alot done in a short time and it is a good experience
for the horse, he does not traumatize them or hurt them in
any way and the horses love him and want to work for him.
When you get your horse back it will tie, load, pick up
feet, able to be ridden anywhere and been there and done
that. All spookiness and bad habits will be a thing of the
past. We highly reccomend him. G&S Appaloosas

"Both hubby and I were very impressed at Jims actions. He knew exactly how to act around John Boy. That is another reason he needed to go to someone who knew how to handle horses and basically can out think them."
